Parks Canada Info Staff for informing our guests about all the great activities available this Canada Day.

Our special Mini Mounties – Zachary Kearnan, Kelton Bourdin, Severin Golla, Emma Glover, Isabelle Glover and Arianna St. Jacques.

Bye the Wae Pipe Band – Your presence is much appreciated at our flag raising and leading our parade.

RCMP Regimental Pipes and Drums – for playing at our flag raising and during the parade you added a special flare this year.

The Municipality of Jasper Mayor, Council, staff and volunteers for hosting the pancake breakfast and keeping the Centennial Park looking good.

Keith McKinney and Canyon Radio for the keeping us into touch with each other, Don Pickle for the our security safety vests, Bear Hill Lodge/Paul Butler for the use of “Eyor” the motorized cart, you made marshalling the floats a lot easier (and to Shelley for having to work without it for most of the day).

Our barricade people – Kevin Henderson, Ralph Melynk, Jovenal Albio, Jeff Morris, Alex Beztilny, David Fransoo, Camilie Beaulieu, Alicia Pyke, Judy Gieselman, Joyce Petura, Tim Sanchuk, Leigh Abra, Pamela Trofanenko and Judy Adamson – without you there would be mass confusion.

Amanda D’Heer for singing O’Canada at the flag raising and Mikyla Sherlow for singing O’Canada prior to the fireworks, Pete’s Nite Club for providing the ribbons for our best floats, Shirley for providing cookies to keep our clowns happy, Greg at Bowen Contracting for the donating the float for our local band to ride in the parade. Jasper Museum, Jasper Yellowhead Historical Society and Jasper Heritage Jazz and Blues Society for providing music, food and games at Centennial Park all afternoon.

Jasper Tourism and Commerce for helping with the mail outs, Heritage Canada for helping us put on the wonderful firework display.

Fireworks Spectacular and Robert Harkema for the awesome display, what a way to end a great day, Grey Van Tighem for the permits to have those fireworks, to all the business, individuals, and organizations that go to so much work and effort to have parade entries on the beginning of our busy summer. We appreciate the time, organization and hard work that you and your staff put in and we appreciate it. Finally to the Jasper Canada Day Society volunteer committee – Beryl Cahill, Barb Barker, Melissa Sinclair, Becky Koss, Darlene Skehill, Judy Adamson, Brian Higginson, Danielle Stewart and Tamar Couture without this small dedicated group there would be no Canada Day festivities.
